Prices and Sizes
Each pet portrait is individually hand-painted in professional-grade oil paint on canvas panels, and is uniquely designed to fit your overall vision of the piece. All portraits are finished with varnish and, optionally, can be framed for an additional price before being shipped to your home.
The prices below are estimates and are subject to change per project deatils and complexities. I will present you with a final total for approval before moving forward with your portrait.

Before I begin painting your portrait, I will request a %50 deposit of the total project cost.
Paintings take 3 - 6 weeks to complete depending on size, complexity, and dry times.

Custom Size and Canvas
I am happy to customize your portrait specifically for you. If you are interested in a specific size other than the ones listed please let me know during your inquiry, and I will present you a custom price (this includes larger sizes.)
If a gallery wrapped canvas would better suit your home, please let me know, and I would be happy to complete your portrait on one of those instead of a flat panel. Please note that there will be an additional cost for the wrapped canvas.
Additional Cost
Complexity fee + $25 - $75: A complexity fee may be added to your commission for request such as detailed background or environments, complicated poses or compositions, detailed accessories or clothing, additional objects, or other request requiring additional painting time.
Additional pet +$50: Additional pets are subject to composition and space limitations. Only sizes 11 x 14 in. and up can have 2 pets. If you are interested in having more than 2 pets represented in your painting, please let me know and we can discuss a solution.
Custom Framing +$35 - $100: I will carefully frame and put on the hanging wire for your portrait, so it will be ready to hang as soon as it arrives. Frames are selected to complement the artwork and may vary in style and finish. Please be aware that shipping cost will be more because of the extra space and protection needed to ship a framed piece.
Shipping is calculated separately.
How The Commission Process Works
Step 1: Place Your Inquiry
Choose your desired portrait size and submit your commission inquiry. You’ll have the opportunity to share details about your pet, your vision for the portrait, and any special requests you may have.
Step 2: Disscussion
Once I receive your inquiry, I’ll reach out to discuss your project in more detail. We’ll talk about your pet, the composition you have in mind, the reference photos you’d like to use, and pricing. This is also a chance for me to learn more about your pet!
Step 3: Commission Approval and 50% Deposit
Every portrait is thoughtfully reviewed before being accepted. After discussing your project, I’ll confirm that I’m confident I can create a beautiful portrait that meets your vision and works well with my painting style. I will also request 50% of the total project cost as a deposit for the painting.
Step 4: Creating Your Portrait
Once your commission is officially accepted and the deposit has been made, I’ll begin creating your unique oil painting. Each portrait is carefully hand-painted on canvas panel and take approximately 3-6 weeks to complete and dry.
Step 5: Sending It Off
I will send photos of your completed portrait to you for approval. This will be the time to make any slight adjustments if would like. However, the changes you can make here can only be minute. I will not be able to change big features such as the position of the face or adding a large accessory. This is why I prioritize the discussion process beforehand. That is the time to suggest any large adjustments. Once you approve, It will be carefully framed, if requested, and packaged with care.

Frequently asked questions
Can you paint other animals that are not ordinary pets?
This can be discussed during the beginning stages of the project. I am open to painting other animals that are special to you! However, I do prefer to work from original reference photos. That being said, I will try my best to accomadate any special request.
When do I pay?
I will take a 50% deposit fee before the project starts to help with material cost and time. Once the painting is complete, I will request the final 50% before shipping it to you.
When will I get my commission?
I will try to work as quickly as I can to get your order to you! With that being said, I estimate the completion of the project to take between 3-6 weeks. This is because a variety of factors can prolong the process, such as the size of the painting, how many animals, and external factors.
Do I get to pick the background?
Yes! We will discuss the the background of the portrait during the project. You may pick a solid color background, a pattern, or, for an extra cost, a more detail image such as a special place, or your pet lying in their bed. You may provide different reference photos, and I can combine them as well.
What if I want a different size or if I want it on a canvas?
More sizes and surfaces can be available on request! Please note that a canvas will cost more in the final total.
